What matters on an individual's online presence may vary depending on who you are looking at. Fama helps you to create specific filters so you only see the content that could influence a hiring decision for that particular individual.
Behavior Kits allow you to filter for different behaviors depending on the type of individual. For example, you can screen engineers differently than sales representatives or directors differently from entry-level employees.
Setting up Behavior Kits
Creating and modifying Behavior Kits is simple. Any Account Admin can click into Companies on the left sidebar to edit company settings.
Every account starts with a "General" Behavior Kit. This includes all of Fama's Behavior Flags. Read more about them here.
Creating New Behavior Kits
To create a new Behavior Kit, click 'Add Behavior Kit'. Let's say you want to create a Behavior Kit just to be used for the sales department. You could create a new Behavior Kit called "Sales Representatives".
Then add in any behaviors you want to use for sales. Once you are done creating the new Behavior Kit, click Save. It's now ready to be used.
New Feature: Fama Onboarding Wizard
With Fama’s Onboarding Wizard, you can now align your Behavior Kits to your company’s Code of Conduct in 3 simple steps.
1. Access the Fama Onboarding Wizard here and upload your Code of Conduct.
2. Review and share your selected misconduct flags by selecting:
a. “Email” if you are not logged into app.fama.io
b. “Import to Fama” if you are logged in
3. In the Fama Web App, use Company Settings > Behavior Kits to:
a. Review and save your new Behavior Kit
b. Set as your Default Behavior Kit, if preferred
Using Behavior Kits When Ordering a Report
Let's say you want to use that Behavior Kit to screen an individual applying for a sales representative role. When you order the report, select "Sales Representatives" from the dropdown under ‘Behavior Kit'. Enter any other identifying information you have and click 'Add Report'.
The report for this individual is now being processed, and only posts that match the behaviors in the selected Behavior Kit will appear on the report.
Setting a 'Default' Behavior Kit
If you would like a frequently used behavior kit to always show up as the default choice when ordering a new report, any Account Admin can navigate to Companies and set a 'Default Behavior Kit' in the Behavior Kits section. Simply select the name of the behavior kit from the dropdown menu, then press the green 'Save' button.
